The nose is very fleeting in this brew. A very, very careful sniff, with nose fully inserted in the head, reveals a slight malty character well balanced by hops.
The color is a medium, slightly reddish amber. The head disappears quickly from sight.
This is a very light beer. The flavors are very subtle. The malt and hops are well-balanced if absent, and the spices are lacking. Carbonation and conditioning are fine. This is more of a summer refresher than a winter fortification brew. While it is quite drinkable and tasty, it isn't very distinct or notable.
This beer receives a Very Good rating.
