A fine brewery from the Czech Republic.
Sweet, malty, nutty nose. Pour hard and watch the bubbles dance in a thick, fine (but not creamy) head through the dark, nearly opaque, brew. A bright light beyond shows up red. Malt, hops, and toasted malts melt over th tongue. It is well balanced, leaning on the bitter side, with a long, delightful, finish with a hint of astringency at the tail end. Medium body.
