dive #: 133 |
date: 7 October 2005 time: 13:18 |
max. depth: 14.9 m
dive time: 42 min
notes:
Hid behind Cannery Point and dove Cannery Point Wall after finishing lunch. Visibility ranged from 2 m inside to 15 m out by the point. Large rockfish in the kelp canopy overhead. Large (1 m) ling hiding in a hole. Medium-sized abalone in a crack exposing his mantle magnificently with a copper rockfish hiding above it. I've seen a large school of juvenile pipefish the past three times in this area. Lots of Myxilla lacunosa sponges.
