Metridium Field

Weather sunny.
Sea swell NW 10-12 ft., ebb tide, surf at Beach St., very surgy in shallows.

Huge surf at primary spot--Beach St.
Long surface swim to Metridium Field.
Dropped down to 21 m. Very dark. Could barely see metridiums. Swam directly back to shore. Ground sandy with few stars. Around 10 m, got more interesting with rocks and kelp.

20 lbs in belt, 4 lbs around ankles. Ankles *way* too heavy. Bad idea. Had to work to keep feet out of harm's way. Next time, just 2 lbs around yoke, 20 lbs in belt.
